Common Loader Repairs & Costs.
Cranks But Won’t Start.
Often this is caused by bad fuel in the carburetor or a clogged filter, which has plugged the fuel coming from the gas tank. Often this problem can be fixed for as little as $125 Sometimes this will require a new carburetor, which will cost more, occasionally this issue is caused by an electrical issue which can be more costly.
Doesn’t Shift Into 2nd Gear.
The most common cause of this problem is a failed synchronizer for 2nd gear. This is often years of use, but is sometimes a result of a worn gear. Most times if caught quick enough this is a simple fix if the machine as an access panel to the transmission gear synchronizers. Cost for this repair is around $400.
Runs But Don’t Have Power.
Typically this problem happens on machines that have had oil dripping on the floor in the past. The problem is often a head gasket failure, and is often caused by an oil leak attracting dirt and debris in the engine cooling fins, which makes the engine hot, and blows a gasket.
